Whether you're a Christian or not you cannot avoid that battle that rages within each one of us. Whether it's over our time, our money, our relationships, our health, our property we're all in the middle of some type of battle.

The most important battle you'll face is for your very existence.  If you thought the human race was about to be wiped off the face of the earth, how would you respond?  There are movies that depict our response to such threats to humanity. The past few weeks we have been talking about our position on this battlefield of life, are we prepared to engage the enemy or do we stand passively by and do nothing.

The enemy?  That's an interesting topic, to some of us it may be obvious who we're battling, while to others they haven't a clue.  The Bible says in Eph 6:12, "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places."  Stop and think on this for a moment.  What kind of a sci-fi movie would this make.  If we could grasp this as reality and not fantasy how would that impact the energy we spend attacking the earthly things over the spiritual things.  For example, have you every looked at the one you're in relationship with as the enemy?  Relationships are destroyed over us taking up arms against one another.  We must realize there is a more serious battle to be fought than against one another.

Can a person adjust their perspective on life?  Can one make a choice regarding how they will live? Sure, why not!  It's really not that difficult, we've been given our marching orders and the Commander and Chief has never lost an engagement.  The battle is raging whether you join in or not!
